1. Scope and contact
This website presents the digital marketing services offered under the Ember Crew brand. This policy covers website enquiries, website operation and related communication. For privacy questions or requests, use the enquiry form on our Contact Us page.
A separate written agreement should describe the handling of personal data in any client advertising, analytics, customer database or other service project. This website policy does not replace those arrangements.
2. Information you choose to provide
Our enquiry form requests your name, email address, selected service and project message. Your business or company name is optional. If you email us, the email system receives your address, message and any attachments you send.
Please provide only information needed to discuss your requirements. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents, patient records or other sensitive information through a general enquiry.
3. How enquiries are used
We use enquiry details to understand your request, respond to your questions and discuss a possible service relationship. The form asks for permission to use the details for that purpose. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
The website form passes validated details to the configured email system. It does not create a separate database of enquiry messages. Whether a message reaches an inbox depends on the email delivery configuration and provider.
4. Website operation and security
The web server and infrastructure providers may process network information such as an IP address, requested page, browser information and request time to deliver pages, investigate errors and protect the site.
The enquiry endpoint uses a short-lived counter associated with a keyed network-address digest to limit repeated submissions. That counter does not store the enquiry message or a raw IP address in the contact plugin.
5. Cookies, comments and external content
WordPress can use cookies for account login and session functionality. Where comments are available, WordPress may process the submitted name, email, comment and related technical information; an optional cookie can remember commenter details when selected.
The current theme uses locally hosted fonts and images and does not include an advertising pixel or analytics tag. If an external video, avatar or other embedded resource is used on a page, the provider may receive technical information when that resource loads and its own privacy rules apply. Changes to tracking or embedded services should be reflected in this policy and any required consent controls.
6. Providers and disclosure
Hosting, email delivery and other providers involved in operating the website or responding to enquiries may process information for those purposes. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law or to address a legitimate security issue. This policy does not authorise unrelated use of your enquiry details.
7. Retention and safeguards
Enquiry correspondence should be retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage an ongoing discussion, maintain necessary business records or meet applicable obligations. Provider backups and logs can have their own retention schedules.
Access to enquiry information should be limited to people who need it for those purposes. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.
8. Requests and choices
Contact us to ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, withdraw permission for optional communication or raise a privacy concern. Requests are considered subject to applicable law, necessary record retention and reasonable identity checks. Withdrawal does not reverse processing already completed.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect account or other interactive functionality.
9. Updates
This policy may be revised when the website, its providers or its data-handling practices change. The date displayed above identifies the latest published revision.
